San Francisco – AIDS: The Biggest Killers In The Globe

Statistics show that one of the biggest killers around the world is still sexually transmitted diseases. You can prevent them by educating yourself and others about the many different diseases out there. However, if you do not feel like learning about these things, than at least reduce your risk of getting something, and help others protect themselves with the various methods of getting and garnering protection from disease. Of course you could simply throw caution out the window and rely on your luck and charm to try and avoid getting something nasty, but why would you do that? We are not in the old west or some far away free love society, we are living in modern times and these days people that are not practicing safer sex are seen as pigs. Statistics on AIDS  are still not good, they are shocking, especially since you should know better.

Knowing is half the battle, so get yourself tested for sexually transmitted diseases often. That is if you are having unprotected sex. This is not the era of forward thinking free sex, it is a world that is callous and really has a lot of different things that can infect you and your partner, so don’t just think you are going to survive sexually transmitted diseases and fight them off with just your luck and advice. Statistics on AIDS  prove yet again that there are millions of people getting infected with this nasty disease and it is sad.

If you know a loved one or a friend that has passed away from this violent and deadly disease, you know that it is real. Popular culture has been raising awareness for the disease in a lot of different ways. We have seen television shows, movies, and even comic books trying to raise awareness of what is being touted one of the deadliest things to happen to sexual health in a long time. While it is true that there are treatments available to those that need it, it still doesn’t cure things and you can still transfer aids to a loved one.

Use protection each time you have any sort of sexual encounter. While some might state that it doesn’t feel the same, one has to argue that it is better to be safe than sorry. If you contract a deadly disease you are not going to be happy and your embarrassment is not worth the feeling of a momentary pleasure. There are so many great things in life, and you should not trust them in the hands of other people, you should really enjoy life to the fullest, and protect yourself.  Your sexual health is not something you want to play with, and you don’t want others to play with you in regards to that. Get tested, and be a part of the growing awareness, not the death toll.
